JP Gan featured on the 2020 Forbes Midas List for the fifth consecutive year
2020.04.14

The 2020 Forbes Midas List was announced on April 14, 2020. Our Founding Partner JP Gan(甘剑平) ranks No. 13 on the list. This is the fifth consecutive time JP has been named since 2016.

Produced in partnership with TrueBridge Capital Partners, the 19th annual Midas Lit recognizes the world’s top 100 venture capitalists. To qualify, investors are ranked by their portfolio companies that have gone public or been acquired for at least $200 million over the past five years, or that have at least doubled their private valuation since initial investment to $400 million or more over the same period. A data-driven list, Midas is produced after reviewing the submissions of hundreds of partners across dozens of firms each year.

Comments from the Forbes Midas List:

“JP Gan has struck gold with Chinese IPOs such as video-sharing site BiliBili, on-demand delivery service Meituan-Dianping and selfie-editing app Meitu. Now, the former managing partner at Qiming Venture Partners will try to replicate his success at his own firm, INCE Capital, which will focus on early-stage Chinese internet and consumer startups. It's named fittingly: the "IN" stands for internet, intelligence, innovation and investment, the "CE" is a romanization of the Chinese word for strategy. Gan closed a $352 million debut fund in October 2019.”
