Crystal Resonance Technologies’ B Round of Financing for 5G High-End Filter Market was Led by INCE Capital
2021.08.11

Crystal Resonance Technologies (CRT), a 5G high-end filter supplier, announced the completion of its Series B round of financing led by INCE Capital and followed by GF Xinde Investment, Infinity Equality, Aggressive Capital, Zhuhai Technology Venture Investment, and Huajin Capital. This round of financing will further promote CRT’s distribution in 5G high-end filter field.

CRT is an international enterprise established in 2017 by industry leaders, Israeli technical experts, and top filter experts; it is also the only high-performance FBAR filter manufacturer with over ten design and invention patents with full intellectual property rights. Since its founding, CRT has been granted 20 international and national patents, with 9 awaiting approval and applications of 8 pending. The patent pool covers filter design, resonator structure, packaging method, and manufacturing; the patent number will double in 18 months.

The advanced processing center of CRT (CRT-APC) is the only semiconductor factory globally that can epitaxially dope piezoelectric and electrode films and mass-produce them. CRT has completed the development and tape-out and is gradually realizing mass production of n40, n41(HPUE), and n79 with the coexistence of WiFi 5GHz. WiFi 5GHz, WiFi 6, and WiFi 6E are already at tape-out and are expected to be mass-produced in the second half of this year. In the coming 5G era, CRT will provide world-class high-performance SC-FBAR filters, duplexers, multiplexers, and antenna multiplexers.

JP Gan, a Founding Partner of INCE Capital, noted, “Through innovation, CRT has formed an independent and complete intellectual property system in high-end filter FBAR and realized its patent layout. With the completion of this round of financing, CRT will achieve full-band FBAR product coverage and mass production delivery in the 5G band in the second half of the year. With the advent of the 5G era and the urgent demand for RF front-end localization, we believe that CRT will usher in greater growth opportunities.”
