JP Gan, Founding Partner of INCE Capital, wins a place again on the List of China's Best VC Investors in 2020 which was released by Forbes China on December 28.
JP has been ranked on the Forbes China list for consecutive years. He also has had a place on the Midas List, the World’s Best VC Investors’ Ranking by Forbes, for five consecutive years. In 2019, Mr. Gan ranked No. 5 on the Midas List.
Each year, Forbes China conducts an independent survey of active VC investors in the Chinese mainland. This year, the list selects 100 VC investors with great performance in the past five years from over 200 active VC firms based on desk research and questionnaire. The ranking is made according to the capitalization on investment via exit by VC investors in the recent five years, including the capitalization on portfolio companies via IPO, M&A and the developments of portfolio companies during the period of time covered by the survey. The investment time horizon can also impact a candidate's ranking on the list. The earlier a VC investor steps into a project, the better his or her investment judgment and vision can be manifested.
